APPEAL FROM LAXMI PRATISTHAN TO KIND HEARTED DONORS

Dear friends,

I am a grieved father and the chairman of welfare and charitable foundation Laxmi Pratisthan, founded in the memory of two untimely deceased sons. Friends, we have achieved mentionable achievements in a very short span of time in an effort to divert our minds towards creativity with positive approach from this very rare and heart-locking incident rather than wetting our bed with tears. The programme, focused in the field of education, health and vocational training primarily aimed at children, women and other people of the community has been very effective with huge success which has encouraged us to launch similar programs in other communities to enable them to lead their life with literacy, health and self-dependence. To carry out our charitable and welfare efforts, we have spent around 2.5 million rupees from our personal fund which delighted us with the success we achieved. Friends, we want to continue it further to render it more effective but we are lacking financially to retain our mission. We urge to all the friends, well-wishers and kind hearted donors to support us by showing your generosity to enable this memorial foundation to run further towards humanity. Direct and indirect effects on the community from the programs carried out by Laxmi Pratisthan:

1. The underprivileged and backward communities will march from "the dark towards light” and the Vocational training provided after the basic education will render them self-dependent.
2. The health awareness programs will make people aware of the health and sanitation which will significantly reduce the death rate caused by many illness and epidemic diseases.
3. Our awareness program aimed at underprivileged communities will reform the superstitious thought, social discrimination and racism in the community as well as discourage them to drug abuse and women trafficking.
4. "One house five fruit plants" concept will support the people’s economy in the future as well as contributing to the ecology for the greener tomorrow.
5. Traffic awareness programs will make people aware of the traffic rules reducing the number of accidents.
