Distribution of fruit plants to the locals of Anekot as a part of "Ek Ghar Paanch Phal" programme

Laxmi Pratisthan memorial foundation has conceived EK GHAR PAANCH PHAL programme. On 29th July, 2010 , it distributed the fruit plants to the locals of Anekot VDC in Kavre district. Primarily, it has distributed 5 fruit plants each women participating in the Basic Education and Vocational Training Program run by the foundation. Overall 700 fruit plants were distributed in the ceremony. The foundation believes that will help to strengthen the villagers economy as an additional income in the future at the same time contributing for the greener environment. Laxmi Pratisthan has further ambitions to provide such plants in more and more villages to cover the wider area.

The representative of Manegaun Group is presented with the citrus fruits plants which ideally suits the locality.


The Rudraksha plant (Elaeocarpus ganitrus) were also presented to the representative from Bal Prativa Lower Secondary School, Puranopokhari. The building in the background has been sponsored by Laxmi Pratisthan. Those plants will be planted for garden of the school.
