Release of musical album LAXMI in pictures.

Laxmi Pratisthan released its musical album "LAXMI" in co-ordination with Music Nepal at The Music School, Battisputali. The album was revealed by the Nationl Poet Madhav Prasad Ghimire in the presence of many other distinguished guests and among large audience. The program was also attended by large number of media houses. The album contains 5 sentimental songs and 4 instrumental music. The lyrics of the songs are penned down by Mr Bishnu Gautam, the chairman of the foundation, Laxmi Pratisthan. The touchy songs came out of his heart in the memory of his sons who passed away abruptly in between nine and half months. The music is composed by the singer himself Madan Gopal, an upcoming talent who has put his all efforts in the album. Besides, there is one song by female singer Jhuma Niraula. Veteran musician Subha Bdr. Sunam has provided his saxophone music in all the instrumentals. The royalty from the sales of the album will go to the fund of Laxmi Pratisthan. The chairman handing over the land ownership certificate (lalpurja) to the Principal of Bhakram Devi Secondary School, Anekot. Laxmi Pratishthan has provided the land equal to (4-2-0-1) worth Rs 10 lakhs to the school.



Mrs. Kamala Tamang, the chairman of Freedom Children's Welfare Centre (FCWC) was also honoured in the occasion. She is looking after 23 helpless and orphan children in FCWC.



Wife of missing journalist Prakash Thakuri from Mahendranagar, was provided with the financial assistance of rupees 25,000 for the education expenses of her sons. Mr. Thakuri has been missing since 2 years and the family has been totally unknown about his whereabouts. His helpless wife has been doing labour work to run the family. She is survived by his 2 sons studying in 7 and 4 classes. She was in financial crisis to continue her son's studies. Laxmi Foundation made a donation for the continuation of their studies till one year.Laxmi Pratisthan will provide possible supports in the future.



Mr Pushkar Shah was also honoured in the same occasion. The chairman of the Pratisthan, Mr Bishnu Gautam provided him the cheque worth Rs 25,000 as a support for his endeavour to scale the Mount Everest. Laxmi Pratisthan urges to all the kind hearted donors to offer him the help and support for his attempt.
