Laxmi Pratisthan also carry out welfare activities for the relief of poor and helpless families. For example, Laxmi Pratisthan knew the pathetic condition of a helpless family in Rakhu, Myagdi through the media and went to provide financial assistance to the family. In the family, the two sisters Padam Kumari (40) is deaf and dumb by birth while her sister Chet Kumari (37) is bed ridden since her birth. She can move no organ except her hand. They are accompanied by their elderly parents who are helpless. Laxmi Pratisthan visited the family being accompanied by the media persons from Avenues Television, News 24 and National Television.
